[ ENGLISH NEWSPAPERS IN JAPAN ]

There are several English Language newspapers available in Japan and single issues are usually available at kiosks at major railway stations and English bookstores.

However, if you live out in the suburbs or off the beaten track, buying a daily paper at one of these places is not an option.

On the other hand, no-matter where you live in Japan, getting a newspaper delivered to your apartment couldn’t be easier; the minimum subscription period is usually one full calendar month and fees are collected  in cash at your door by the local distribution agent around the end of each month.

It is also usually quite easy to suspend your subscription if you are going on vacation, or change the delivery address if you are moving.
